Firstly, meet the monster which had to come home with me!
There was a line of them which just brought a huge smile to my face so I had to get one. Actually I wanted to get a few because they really were so cool, but in the end only bought one, this red one above. He is full of bubbles, bit like my head at times :-)
On top of this we made a discovery which brought out a monster in me - Halloumi chips to dip into a salsa sauce. OMG they are just so delicious instead of sharing just one portion with Andrew and Dexter, I ended up ordering another one so we could share too!!! They were so yummy, I just can't get them out of my head so that means.....
If I am going to bring out an exciting monster in me, one that scares me into exercising my big butt and thighs off! Actually I am rather looking forward to it as I know I will feel so much better for it and that will show through in everything else I do so all the more reason for me to start hitting the metal big time starting tonight when Dexter is at his football training :-)
I feel good now because I have my eye firmly set getting some energy back into me through exercising and this is one of these goals that is 100% within my abilities to achieve and I will use this blog to ensure I fullfil this promise. I am also not going to be just a "January Runner", as Anders puts it. Yep, there are so many people out running just now, which is great, but you know that a lot of them will soon give up, just like I have done too in the past (not that I have ever started in January before though). I know getting back to exercising, it will make my mind more sharp, and that energy will make me not feel so sluggish and well just blah which I am feeling after an over indulgent and lazy festive period. That and my clothes will start to hang better too ;-)
Good luck with your exercise. I know I sleep better on days I exercise.
ReplyDeleteLove the monster!!! He's tooo cute! Good luck with exercising! I'm trying to get back into the swing of it too!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter couldn't even get into her regular gym class last week because there were so many "January" gym enthusiasts.
