my Mum were still alive. I thought of her this morning when I woke up, and then got an email from my sister saying "hope she is having a wonderful time up there in heaven celebrating her birthday and playing the slot machines"! Of course Mumbo wouldn't be very happy at me sharing her love of the old slot machines here in public but she did love going to Atlantic City and Las Vegas - my Mum did love to party!
If she were alive today, she would be 78 (if the information she had about her birthday was correct) today, but I think she might have been 80 today as I found documentation on line (now that Russia are gradually sharing what happened in the Siberian camps during WW2) that show her date of birth as 12 Jan 1932 and not 1934.
Regardless of which, I hope she is having a great time wherever she is and whatever she is doing.
