Canoeing

Andrew and I decided to take Dexter canoeing as part of his summer holiday break.
Anders and Dexter even wore their explorer hats!  It was great to see places we might otherwise never see.

Dexter saw beautiful petrol coloured dragonflies for the first time near these lily pads :-)

We all had our film cameras with us stowed away in plastic zip-lock bags in case one or all of us fell out of the canoe.  The film spools still have to be developed though but luckily I also used my trusty i-phone, so I could share some pictures early :-)

The water was so clear and beautiful, yet glimmered like black shiny tar even though the sky was so blue.
Exploring is fun, you get to see...

so many unexpected things!!!
