This day.....

was a day that I saw so many amazing images on my walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens yesterday, my brain was bursting with excitement at the things I captured that I just want to share with you.

I posted some of my shots yesterday, but I have more like these which I will be posting up this week.

Magical Mushrooms

It's mushroom picking time of year already!

My Dad was someone who loved to go mushroom picking. He would go to the woods and spend hours collecting them so my sister tells me. It was one of the things she loved to do with him.

By the time I was old enough to do this, he and my mum had split up, but I do remember my sister always loving this time of year for this very reason, mushroom picking.

if you don't know what ones are safe to eat, you can just photograph them instead! Some mushrooms are deadly.

Jellyfishing!

Well not really Jellyfishing as such, not how Spongebob would see it!

I am trying out my new camera on all the sorts of things I have photographed before, and it is definitely showing up what I actually see - in this case aren't jellyfish quite beautiful? I think they have really lovely markings....
