....I cannot believe how truly lucky I am, no sooner have I gotten off the plane from Santa Fe which is excitement enough, I then find out that one of the pictures I submitted is featured along with 15
of the superb artists who attended Review Santa Fe on
La Lettre de la photographie which is so unbelievably massively flattering.
La Lettre was Life Magazine's winner 2011 best photo blogs. I mean, having one of my photographs selected from one of the 100 photographers who got selected to Review Santa Fe, is just so mind blowing and amazing I just don't know what to say. I am so very honoured and grateful to
Elizabeth Avedon and to all the people involved for giving me this chance. To get into Review Santa Fe and to be even in the same room as the other photographers was honour enough and I am so surprised and incredibly excited and just cannot begin to comprehend what this could maybe, if I am incredibly lucky mean, especially as a complete unknown which is what I am. I am just shrieking with excitement and joy and just hope to not wake up from what feels like the most incredibly wonderful dream, but I do also know that this may indeed happen, so for now I am just enjoying the fact that people seem to like my work!
