Am I boring you darling?

I don't know whether my photography is hurting his eyes or I am just boring him (he is such a cheeky one). If he confirms either of these you will also note from the photograph that he has my dogs lead round his neck, any smart comment and i'll be yanking that for sure!!!!

Why do birds....

This morning, as I walked Marvin & Carly, with Anders walking in the correct position of 5 paces behind and slightly to my left (ha, ha, only joking, he was but only because he hurt his knee during Kung Fu yesterday evening and he was taking Dexter to school).

As I walked smiling away, I passed a lady who I had not seen before, and no sooner did she spot me then she looked me up and down and scowled! Yep, scowled, what did I do to deserve this! She didn't see Marvin or Carly so it wasn't someone who didn't like dogs, no!

On seeing this expression, my face took on a bewildered look as if to say "what was that about"? As this thought was going through my head she and I had both taken a further 2 or three paces further and were in the throes of passing, by which point her eyes gazed upon Anders, and her expression changed to that of Seductress and having seen a knight on a horse!

At that point all I could visualise hearing was music playing as Ander's blond hair shone (if it were long it would be swishing), and her eyes sparking and time stopping for her as she looked upon him, frown doing a 180 degree turn to huge smile, her hair giving a little flick, her hand rising up to wave and her opening to shout the phrase "hiya" (scottish version of Hello)! My head did a double take and I just started to quietly laugh...... Anders had seen both expressions too and later said, you were competition and I was prey!

What can I say that the Carpenters can't!

Eye Candy

Yep, that's my eye candy in the form of my hunky husband.

Anders and Dexter sent me this photo to make me laugh, it did, a lot!

He didn't turn Green and his clothes didn't rip off either!

Clearly there must have been something in the Loch Ness and Highlands air but it took overnight and to be back at home to metamorphosize itself!!!

Two handsome boys - guess who?

Yep, what a surprise I hear you say....

But, hey, I just think they look great, my two handsome boys and of course the very photogenic puppies....

No matter what the weather, they make every shot look good

Oh, I wish I looked as great in photographs as my two boys do.

Cardboard Cutouts!

I have no idea how these photographs came out looking like I had cut and paste Anders & Dexter into a false beautiful beach scene, but I can assure you I didn't. I could of course understand why someone might think I had as it is hard to believe that a city beach in Scotland looks so positively tropical!

Maybe, they are standing in front of some backdrop and that my life is all a dream! Maybe this whole blog is made up! Ha, ha, ha - if all my photos turned out looking like this then I might wonder too but I assure you these are all real, including my two lovelies - I have pinched myself to check and thank goodness!

Afternoon Tea......

Just having a nice cup of afternoon tea......

My son is going to have a lot of fun with my new camera applications - I am!

Alfresco

Decided that as the weather had been nice yesterday and because it was still quite warm with no breeze when it was time for dinner that as an impromptu surprise Dexter, Anders & I would dine on the balcony alfresco! I had marinated the Duck Confit the evening before, so

it was just down to cooking it today and serving it with a nice salad.

Here are my two boys making fun of me taking pictures!

Dexter liked my Duck Confit, or at least he appeared to!........

......Wee Girl sat on our extension copper roof

and Marvin & Carly sat hinting and wondering why there were not a

spare couple of chairs there for them!!!

And then it was over, all cleared up as if we had not been there!

Things that cheered me up today....

Some things that I saw today which made me smile and feel like things are what you make them....

Horse shoe prints in the sand, reminded me that even if I encounter people who are a pain in the ass, at least I can remember I am married to someone who loves me very much....

My lovely Anders, as a team we can deal with anything, how could we not when we have produced such a lovely like.....

Dexter, a wee person who just brings so much joy......

So, seeing a beautiful butterfly - whispered my wishes to it, hope they come true

Saw a beautiful clear blue sky, with fireball sun, birds flying high - you know what I mean.....
