Scavenger Hunt Sunday prompts.....

Every Sunday, Ashley puts over 5 word prompts, this week they are Time; Poem/Poetry; Outside; Zoom and Isolation. Here are my submissions for this week, but you can work out which picture fits each, or maybe they fit more than one! I know the first one is from a few years ago (If you have been following this blog you will tell from how young Dexter is in it), but it is one I took years ago and only stumbled across it because I found an old spool of film which I had not developed and it made me happy to see it.  The rest, they were taken over the last week :-)

The two pictures below however I thought went with the words I had to write early on Saturday morning as my stepfather struggled for air. He is dying and yet is fighting onto life. He is really struggling and I just want him to have peace and light that is all I ask for him.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

This weeks Scavenger Hunt prompts were:  texture, fog, button, beverage/drink, seventies.  

I wasn't really excited about the prompts if I am to be honest and wasn't going to submit an entry, but then I thought that was the wrong attitude to have so I am sorry and yes deserve a kick up the bum. Please don't all do it at once though!   Here are my photographs.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

The snow has come early and I love how it changes things so dramatically.

Apparently it is the first time in 17 years that it has fallen in November in the UK.

When it is cold outside, you wrap up warm and indulge in eating comfort food!

I have a lot more photos to share which I am rather excited about, but they will have to be for other blog posts and stories as I have to put them into something less random!  Hope these have given you enough of a tease though to want to come back to see them?

Now for Scavenger Hunt.  The headings that Ashley suggested made me think of one song, which I love and it has a great video - hope you enjoy it.

 I love it and I think it is very in keeping so thought I would find photos that might fit the Scavenger Hunt prompts and go with this song/video and it's lyrics!!!

As already said, I have tried to pick photos that go with the video this week I just love this song and video, it is well worth checking out if you have not already.  

So, it might be a short entry this week, but two of my pictures managed to get view from above, cold (ice in the drinks), glow from the fire, electric lighting and of course two sparkling models!!!!! Yes I am having a laugh (or am I) - ha, ha, ha.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday was tough

Oh, seriously, don't like doing this type of stuff, and not sure I would describe it as a "portrait", but it is me taken using a timer.
Something handmade........
Well, I have finally gotten round to doing some Christmas cards - but the one below isn't me at all, it is too serious.  

I could have gone traditional with candles as some people like them, but I find them too sombre, so instead I enlisted the help of some orange helpers to bring some festive cheer......

but not Carly below!  She was having none of it - bah humbug!  

So this card came to mind with her!

No she is not on the naughty list, but it did make me laugh.  I am sure she will comply another day?!

 well I like this photo I took outside the coffee shop which was advertising what they sell.  Having had the week I have had, quite apt as I have felt quite dizzy trying to be too many things at once.

with a week of making presents and cards and generally attempting too many creative things, I found this Scavenger Hunt really hard to do in my usual style.  Normally, I have it sort of planned by Monday, but nope, not this week.  By the end of it, my head was spinning around so maybe this picture might have suited better for my self portrait - trying to be too many things at once!
