I know the world is full of joy and sadness, but even when times are hard you can always find things to make you smile if you chose to. That is exactly what I want to do, so here are some pictures I took which made me happy when I was taking them. I was playing about with some 35mm film cameras which I have been picking at car boot sales (and Anders and I get really excited by finding these little cast away, unwanted treasures) so didn't know what they would turn out like until the spools were developed. For me you see, film is like giving myself a little present back in the form of a memory of your choosing!
So whether you are dreaming of future horizons, or focused on where you are going or consumed what is happening now, you can, if you chose to, still break free and see the blue skies, carnivals and clouds!
It's fun to see other people experimenting with film. Don't you just love the latitude that film gives you? Just look at those vivid colors! I also like the anticipation, not knowing how the shots turned out.
