New Years Day finds.....

The start of a 2011 and this is what I saw as we went for a stroll in our home town which I just loved doing.

Now the party's over.....

and the band played on The Street

Unrequited kisses (abandoned mistletoe)

Weight loss dreams
What you lookin' at?  Future generation.
Shedding skin
Broken dreams
Casting of the Runes, otherwise known as cereal scattered!  Signs I tell ye, Signs!!!
Another year another plane
To let, used only once, comes with great view and log fire!

Will you wish me a Happy New Year?
Wishful thinking!

Start the new year crisp and white and all things will be bright.
Cast away memories

Where did I leave my bag again?

It is all such a beautiful blur
Lucky Charms!
tides are like years they come and go

  1. What a fabulous thing to do! You found lots of amazingly creative captures while most of the rest of the country looked like it was still sleeping :D.

I've loved visiting here in 2010, and look forward to seeing your lovely work in 2011!

Best wishes for a wonderful year!!!

  5. Anika, thank you for saying what you did, I really appreciate it and it means a lot, genuinely. I had a lot of fun doing it, and I could see people thinking "what is she taking photos of and why" as I was taking them! Found photo's are interesting as they are clearly something someone took but no longer wants to keep them for whatever reason. I really enjoyed doing it, and I just have to say I am so excited by your ACoLab topics (and especially the extras), just saw them last night and I am really excited and inspired!

Belle, I am so glad that you found this post interesting as I know you have some of the other posts I have put up in 2010. I hope you and your family have a great 2011.
