Yep, that's right but unfortunately the guy who owned her doesn't keep well. This car has therefore sat in and out of the garage we use to do the work on our VW Splitty and every time I have asked "what's happening with it", they have said "not sure, it needs a part that we have not been able to find, and we have tried to get hold of the chap who owns it but with not a lot of luck!"...... 2 years on and it turns out that it the previous owner has just decided to give it to the garage (old man who is very very ill and now can no longer look after it as he won't be able to drive it any more) just wants it to go to a good home - so it will be mine.
The chaps hat and the original road atlas are still sitting on the back parcel shelf.....
The mechanics are just fantastic, I have recommended them a few times, they just do fabulous work.
The inside of this car is like a Bentley, really. Even the back seats have fold down wooden tables I kid you not. It is like the anorak and flask persons type of Bentley, so I clearly am one of them!!!
I have found the parts that it is needing, and so once they are done, the car will be mine and I will go about getting it restored. Anders has made friends with a guy who does this all the time and says it's easy!!!

So here she is, a princess who is in need of bringing back up to her regal standard:
....but in the meantime, here she is resting under a tree in the shade, like old ladies sometimes like to do.....
