Nature inspired Gaudi

I love these things so much, I could have spent hours in the Pedrera where there was a great exhibition that showed you the objects that Gaudi took his inspiration from.

The things that we see in nature are incredible, and even more so when you see how someone can take what they see to create such beautiful architecture.

Skulls & pieces of wood

corals

bones

pine cones, wheat, corn on cob

skeletons and spines

spinal columns
