Typewriting Terror Tales and a tribute to Hammer Horror ...

H is for Horror (after all it is Halloweeen)!

The priest had been praying for months, he hoped that his words would be heard and that he would save the souls of his parish. He prayed that someone would destroy the unwanted visitor.

His town had gone mad, they were searching for a place that would keep them safe.

They knew some had fallen victim to the evil that had befallen the town

I surrender, please don't come any closer, you will see my reflection!
Who would help them

This was no happy Halloween full of chocolate and candy, trick or treating

This was something that scared the towns people to their very core

The church had lit candles in prayer

To keep death at bay

That some say lurked in the woods

They prayed to keep the vampire at bay

who was searching for blood....

Who was this creatures followers

and where were they luring innocent people to

It had started with Charles, the Prince' loyal and faithful companion.  He had been searching and had now found a perfect suitor

and no home was safe....

Ahahahahahahaha Ahahahahahahaha

Scavenger Hunt Halloween Post!

Let me see, how would I describe my town?

Well I think it is a place where I laugh a lot.  It is a creative place that inspires imagination

Can't wait to see this really funny film which is set here!

It's a cosmopolitan place that also lets you enjoy the best of the country, sea and city.

It is full of history and culture

and whilst things from the past can still easily be found

the past is something that can be found in any town or city anywhere in the world.

There are many different things that you can do and enjoy

You can dress up and be scary for Halloween.
Today there is apparently a Zombie Walk guess who is going there to hope they can catch some pictures?!

Unknown Mami

You can dress up and be a whatever your fancy takes you

or dress down

You can enjoy great chocolate

Even if you first tasted it in a completely different country!

Its a place where we have great friends, one who we have just found out makes fantastic Churros so I will be pinching their recipes.

It is not a tiny town (this tilt shift thing I really didn't get into because I got better miniature shots from actual miniatures found in Barcelona) but here is my attempt) and you can get fantastic coffee here, the best I have every had so good it tastes like great coffee smells!

Happy Halloween.

Real Estate to die for!

As we were driving away from our hotel and to Barcelona Airport, we passed by a stretch of land which the taxi driver told us about.  In the mountains, more or less above where we had been on the cable car ride where the Castle was were all these shiny reflective windows that looked like apartments built into the rock.  Turns out they are not apartments but graves which you can see the dead buried in!  That is right, hundreds if not thousands of graves, with some of the best views out to sea!
