Two Years ago on the 12th July, we were in up state New York celebrating Anders brother wedding to Laura. It was a hot summer day, but despite that, kilts were worn! I love these two photographs of Dexter and Anders!

So Happy Anniversary Jonny & Laura.
What a beautiful wedding!
ReplyDeleteI may need to renew my vow or something so I can force my hubby to wear a dress kilt :) So distinctive. It would also give me an excuse to have a fancy dress too. Love these pics!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and what a beautiful wedding! I love how they kept the traditions alive.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Flashback Friday.
Oh my gosh, the bride is GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteAnd that reminds me of a wedding that I went to when I was younger. I was so young, that I can't really picture it in my head, but I remember tall grass and... maybe it was a knight/maiden themed wedding, actually.
Well still. This sparked memories for me :)
Thank you all for posting such nice comments, really thoughtful and appreciated.
ReplyDeleteIt was a really lovely wedding, full of beauty, laughter and romance.
It was so nice to see my husband, son and his family wearing kilts, despite the heat. Luckily I had planned for that and got them linen shirts to wear with linen waistcoats which are not traditional Scottish attire when wearing the kilt, but they went well. My father-in-law, god bless him, sweated buckets wearing the whole lot including the dress jacket!!
Glad you all liked it and that it sparked off good feelings for all of you.
