A magnificent lighthouse, Chapter 3

Firstly a song to set the scene for this connection, this romance, this love which you can listen to as you read on!

Anders, Dexter and I have connected in some way to Lighthouse. We have heard his voice, we have seen his sorrow and we have felt his joy we have been united in play. Even though he is run down, he still provides a safe haven, a place to escape and feel alive. A place where we can explore, pretend and be still; a place we can enjoy, embrace and ponder; a place we can just be whatever we like.

Yes Lighthouse might be in a state of disrepair, a mess, but we don't mind that, in fact it adds to his charm. We have heard his communications loud and clear.

Lighthouse may feel frustrated that he cannot protect the ships he so wants to protect, or that he cannot wink to the many feminine ships which sail past.

He still loves all those beautiful sassy ships be that the small petite ones or the amazonian war tankers, he loves them all. It is because of his love of them that he fears what will become of them if he is to keep his feminine shores of Scotland unnoticed in the dark of night!

His lights are broken, his sirens don't work anymore, but he cares, he so deeply cares.

The way Anders cares for Dexter and ensures he is safe as together they climb and explore this magnificent lighthouse who we love very very much.

The way I care for both Anders and Dexter as I watch them climb back to me across the makeshift bridge that takes them from ground level to the roof to further exploration and back again to the safety of my arms.

This unity and solidarity we feel leaves us feeling alive and fulfilled and wanting more.

We are connected as a family and as a family and as individuals we have connected this lighthouse. Lighthouse has left a strong imprint on us so in a way we are also a lighthouse family!

Chapter 3 of A magnificent lighthouse has been inspired by the word "connect" which is this weeks Sunday Creative.

I have really fallen in love with this lighthouse which has resulted in me writing all about it! If you want to see more, just look at the stuff I have done this month which have been inspired by my visit to it.
